Before passing any Social Security reform, I FIRST want legislation that guarantees my current benefits! Although I support efforts to make
Social Security more stable and secure, Social Security reform is potentially dangerous and
unfair to Seniors if not first preceded by passage of the Social Security Benefits Guarantee Act.
As a supporter of RetireSafe, I strongly urge you to oppose any Social Security reform effort until FIRST passing into law the Social Security Benefits Guarantee Act. To do anything else would be reckless and potentially jeopardize my benefits and the health and security of all
Senior Americans. I, therefore, respectfully demand, there should be:
* NO Alan Greenspan-style Social Security benefit cuts!
* NO new taxes on Social Security benefits!
* NO Social Security COLA freezes, reductions, or cancellations!
* NO Social Security means-testing like with Medicare!
* NO Social Security benefits to illegal aliens!
* NO reckless promises from Wall Street gamblers about inflated private Social Security account projections!
* NO unrealistic federal spending or income estimates from Congress!
